2026 Walking Tour: Local Luminaries (Mar. 7)

Description

This tour shines a spotlight on some of the diverse people who have helped shape our community throughout its history. You’ll learn the stories of some of the local figures featured on our Cultural Corridor banners, all of whom contributed significantly to the rich history of our region. 

  • $15 admission per person, which includes a free beverage. 
  • Tickets are non-refundable. 
  • Given 24 hours' cancellation notice, tickets may be transferred to a later tour date. 
  • One Saturday per month, March through October Advance registration is required. 
  • Tour start locations vary; see website for details.

Private tours on a variety of topics are available for groups of 10 or more—perfect for corporate teams, walking groups, social groups or friends day out. Call 719-886-0088 or email info@DowntownCS.com to schedule.

Time

The tour will depart at 10 a.m. from Story Coffee. Please plan to arrive early to get your beverage (included in ticket price) and check in with Downtown staff when you arrive. Plan on at least two hours to arrive early for a beverage, complete the tour, and return to your car.
