Professionals from Homeward Pikes Peak will be leading a training focused on best practices for engaging with individuals experiencing serious mental health challenges, particularly within the unhoused population we encounter in Downtown. This session will provide practical tools, de-escalation strategies, and community resources to help businesses and frontline staff respond with compassion, confidence, and care while supporting a safe and welcoming downtown environment for everyone.
